A 9-mile ride following lanes and bridleways through the northwestern side of the Yorkshire Wolds. The route includes a lovely gated road, the pretty village of Thixendale, distant views towards the North York Moors and Pennines (weather permitting!), and some fascinating 'land sculptures'. The ride is hilly and includes some good canters, so your horse needs to be fit. Led by Janet Cochrane, start time 10am, entry fee �33. Please contact us for booking information.
