Points Accumulator Championship qualifying period 1stOCTOBER 2017 up to and including 31 DECEMBER 2017. Trophy prizegiving will be the next showjumping show after the qualifying period. Each class will have its own points accumulator with a trophy for the highest points achieved - please note this is horse and rider combinations. There will also be a Supreme Trophy given for the most points accumulated for the horse and rider combination throughout the qualifying period, over all classes. At the end of each show it is the rider's responsibility to come to the Secretary and sign in their points achieved on that day. Points will be awarded as follows:- 1st = 6 points 2nd = 5 points 3rd = 4 points 4th = 3 points 5th = 2 points 6th = 1 point This event will be held on the International Arena. Please note if the warmup paddock is too wet/slippery then warmup for this event will be 15 minutes on the International Arena before commencement of each class. There will be specified jumps as your warmup fences. We will not expect pre-entries for the jumping but this is on the proviso you will have to work out your own times regarding classes, but please feel free to ring me during the morning :o) SHOW DRESS IS not compulsory :o) Start Time : 10am prompt Clear Round Starting with poles on the floor and then progressively getting higher on demand, but no going back down ! 3.00 per round Start time : 11.00 a.m., approximately Class 1 30cms cross poles only. Entry fee 8.00. Rosettes to 6th place. Prize money if over six entries. This class will be two-phase. Class 2 40cms cross poles only. Entry fee 8.00. Rosettes to 6th place. Prize money if over six entries. This class will be two-phase. Class 3 50cms uprights and oxers, poles only. Entry fee 8.00. Rosettes to 6th place. Prize money if over six entries. This class will be two-phase. Class 4 60cms varied fences with occasional small fillers (nothing too scary). Entry fee 8.00. Rosettes to 6th place. Prize money if over six entries. This class will be two-phase. Class 5 70cms varied fences with fillers. Entry fee 8.00. Rosettes to 6th place. Prize money if over six entries. This class will be two-phase. Class 6 80cms varied fences with fillers. Entry fee 8.00. Rosettes to 6th place. Prize money if over six entries. This class will be two-phase. Class 7 90cms varied fences with fillers. Entry fee 8.00. Rosettes to 6th place. Prize money if over six entries. This class will be two-phase. Class 8 1m. Varied fences with fillers. Entry fee 8.00. Rosettes to 6th place. Prize money if over six entries. This class will be two-phase. Class 9 - It's A Knock-Out Grid Jumping This event will run as follows:- You will warm up for this event in the paddock over an upright and an oxer. When it is your turn to jump you will be called in to jump the Jumping Lane. YOU MUST BE READY TO JUMP WHEN THE PERSON PRIOR TO YOU IS IN THE ARENA. The Lane will consist of a placing pole, cross pole (30cms), upright (50cms), to an oxer. The oxer is the only fence that will get bigger; one hole per round. Each person will get to jump the current height before the oxer is raised. You will be allowed a total of two knock-downs or refusals of only the oxer whereupon you will be "knocked out". If you knock down the "run-in" fences they do not count, only the oxer. There will be rosettes to 6th place and prize money if over 6 entries. Two-phase = You will jump the course of jumps as a whole and then if clear you will continue to jump the jump off course against the clock. BRAEMAR IS STRICTLY NO SMOKING !
