Unaffiliated Hunter Trials Sunday 13th May 2018 The Show fields, Tumpy Green Competition Centre GL11 5HZ By kind permission of H.B. Pain & J.A. Pain ALL CLASSES ARE PRE-ENTRY and times will be given. Entries Close: Wednesday before the hunter trial, unless full before Late entries will be subject to availability and an additional fee. Friendly, Fun, Confidence Building, Supportive Times will be displayed on Facebook and Equo Events from 2pm Friday PLEASE READ AND ABIDE BY ALL THE RULES Please note Junior and Senior Divisions may be combined depending on entry levels. Horseware Qualifier classes however will not be combined. Class 1 MINI (May be Assisted) Fences approx. 25-30 cm Assistance including leading rein may be given WITHOUT penalty. Suitable for all ages. Water not included Class 2: MINI PLUS � Next Steps Fences approx. 40cm Assistance may be given. This course will start over the mini course, and then include a selection of jumps in the hill field before returning to the mini course to finish. Ideal next step, assistance is allowed, although not suitable for lead rein. Division 1 Junior: riders 17 years and under on 1st January 2018 Division 2 Senior: riders 18 years and over on 1st January 2018 Water in Class 2; The water is completely optional. It will not incur any penalties, however only 3 attempts may be made, after which you will need to move onto the next fence. Class 3: NOVICE Fences approx. 50cm Assistance may be given but ANY Assistance will incur a 50 point penalty. Division 1 Junior: riders 17 years and under on 1st January 2018 Division 2 Senior: riders 18 years and over on 1st January 2018 Class 4: NOVICE PLUS Fences approx. 60cm Assistance may be given but ANY Assistance will incur a 50 point penalty. Division 1 Junior: riders 17 years and under on 1st January 2018 Division 2 Senior: riders 18 years and over on 1st January 2018 Water in Classes 3 & 4; The water can be missed out, however you will incur 20 penalties. If you attempt the water and have any problems you will incur those penalties, in addition to the 20 penalties for missing the water out. Class 5A: PICK & MIX Fences approx. 50cm � 80cm (With Water Included) No Assistance allowed Riders can select any height of jump that is included in the 50cm, 60cm, 70cm or 80cm courses. Class 7: PICK & MIX TEAM HUNTER TRIAL Fences approx. 50cm � 80cm No Assistance allowed Riders can select any height of jump that is included in the 50cm, 60cm, 70cm or 80cm courses. The Water in Classes 6 & 7 - Each horse will be marked separately, as with all jumps on the course. For example if one rider missed the water it would be 20 penalties, if two missed the water it would be 40 penalties etc. If you attempt the water and have any problems you will incur those penalties, in addition to the 20 penalties for missing the water out. Teams of 3 riders, all riders scores will count. See details below. Class 8: INTERMEDIATE (Horseware Qualifying Class) Fences approx. 70cm No Assistance allowed Division 1 Junior: riders 17 years and under on 1st January 2018 Division 2 Senior: riders 18 years and over on 1st January 2018 Class 9: INTERMEDIATE PAIRS Fences approx. 70cm No Assistance allowed Class 10: OPEN (Horseware Qualifying Class) Fences approx. 80cm No Assistance allowed Division 1 Junior: riders 17 years and under on 1st January 2018 Division 2 Senior: riders 18 years and over on 1st January 2018 The gate will be included in the Open, you will need to open and close the gate. Class 11: OPEN PAIRS (Horseware Qualifying Class) Fences approx. 80cm No Assistance allowed Class 12: OPEN PLUS Fences up to 90cm No Assistance allowed To be run over a more technical course, there will be some jumps that will be up to 90cm. The gate may be included in the Open Plus, you will need to open and close the gate. The Water in Classes 5A, 8,9,10,11 & 12; Fully included as part of the course, and will incur penalties inline with all other fences. All classes will include a clearly marked fastest time section Please note that if there are insufficient entries in classes / divisions then the placings may be combined. Please note that there are no ditches in any classes.
