UNAFFILIATED ONE DAY EVENT Saturday 23rd June 2018 The Show fields, Tumpy Green Competition Centre GL11 5HZ By kind permission of H.B. Pain & J.A. Pain This is an Open event, where a warm welcome awaits you. Suitable for all ages ALL CLASSES ARE PRE-ENTRY and times will be given. Designed to introduce riders to Eventing, this is a fun confidence building One Day Event All dressage tests may be called Special rosette for highest placed dressage in each division PLEASE READ AND ABIDE BY ALL THE RULES Class 1 MINI A Lead Rein B Assisted C Unassisted Assistance may be given but ANY assistance (other than calling the dressage test) will incur a 50 point penalty Dressage Test: Pony Club Walk and Trot Test 2013 No back poles in show jumping course. Shorted XC course, fences approx. 20 � 30cm Please note division�s may be combined for placings if insufficient entries in separate divisions. Class 2 MINI ADULTS Dressage Test: Intro B (2009) No back poles in show jumping course. Shorted XC course, fences approx. 20 � 30cm Assistance may be given but ANY Assistance (other than calling the dressage test) will incur a 50 point penalty Class 3: MINI PLUS Dressage Test: Intro B (2009) Fences approx. 40cm Assistance may be given but ANY Assistance (other than calling the dressage test) will incur a 50 point penalty This class is a great stepping stone on from our mini classes, on the cross country phase you will start over the mini course and then progress into the hill field over some lovely encouraging 40cm jumps and then back to the mini course to finish. Class 4: NOVICE Assistance may be given but ANY Assistance (other than calling the dressage test) will incur a 50 point penalty. We have introduced two divisions, both divisions will jump the same cross country course, however you can choose a walk, trot dressage test, or a walk, trot & canter dressage test. Division 1 Dressage Test: Intro B (2009) Division 2 Dressage Test: Prelim 14 (2006) Fences approx. 50cm Class 5: NOVICE PLUS Assistance may be given but ANY Assistance (other than calling the dressage test) will incur a 50 point penalty. Division 1 Junior: riders 17 years and under on 1st January 2018 Division 2 Senior: riders 18 years and over on 1st January 2018 Dressage test: Prelim 14 (2006) Fences approx. 60cm Class 6: INTERMEDIATE Division 1 Junior: riders 17 years and under on 1st January 2018 Division 2 Senior: riders 18 years and over on 1st January 2018 Dressage test: BE90 Dressage Test 95 (2012) No whips allowed for the Intermediate & Open class dressage. Fences approx. 70cm No Assistance allowed (other than calling the dressage test) Class 7: OPEN Division 1 Junior: riders 17 years and under on 1st January 2018 Division 2 Senior: riders 18 years and over on 1st January 2018 Dressage test: BE90 Dressage Test 95 (2012) No whips allowed for the Intermediate & Open class dressage. Fences approx. 80cm No Assistance allowed (other than calling the dressage test) Class 8: OPEN PLUS Division 1 Junior: riders 17 years and under on 1st January 2018 Division 2 Senior: riders 18 years and over on 1st January 2018 Dressage test: BE90 Dressage Test 95 (2012) No whips allowed for the Intermediate & Open class dressage. Fences approx. 85cm, with a more technical cross country phase. No Assistance allowed (other than calling the dressage test) Assistance means �Forbidden assistance� as defined by the 2016 Pony Club Eventing Rule Book sections 29(h) and 31(m). Ditches Please note there are no ditches in any classes. The Water Mini & Mini Plus Classes � The water is completely optional. It will not incur any penalties, however only 3 attempts may be made, after which you will need to move onto the next fence. 50cm & 60cm Classes � The water can be missed out, however you will incur 20 penalties. If you attempt the water and have any problems you will incur those penalties, in addition to the 20 penalties for missing the water out. 70cm, 80cm & 80cm Plus Classes � The water is fully included as part of the course, and will incur penalties inline with all other fences. Please note that after 3 attempts at the water you will be asked to use the alternative route and continue on the course, this is to allow competitors following clear access to the water jump. ENTRIES: Entries online in advance via Equo Events. No telephone entries. � Entries close Tuesday 17th June 2018. � Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the Entries Secretary and subject to a late entry fee of an extra �5. ENTRY FEES: Class 1 & 2 �35 Classes 3 - 8 �45 Plus �3 per competitor first aid contribution All entrants must supply their own number bibs. All hats must be of the current PC / RC standards and be correctly fitted, with tight chin straps fitted as per manufacturers guidelines. TIMES: Will be available on our Facebook Page and Equo Events from Thursday 20th June 2018. COURSE WALKING: the ground will be open from 1pm on Friday 21st June 2018. PRIZES: Trophy for 1st Place competitors, rosettes 1st to 6th place in each section. Specials for all unplaced in Class 1 & 2. Rosette for highest placed dressage combination in each division. Classes may be divided into separate divisions depending on numbers. Classes may be combined for placings if insufficient entries.
