The annual Brampton Bryan Fun Ride follows a magnificent trail through the privately owned parkland of two beautiful country estates on the borders of north Herefordshire and Radnorshire (Powys). Ride two counties and two countries in one day! Plenty of parking with easy access off the A4113 in Brampton Bryan village - SY7 0DH (between Leintwardine and Knighton). Over ten miles of fabulous riding: glorious parkland, including an ancient deerpark and a Grade II* Listed park laid out by Repton, woodland, moorland and farmland, undulating rolling country with fabulous views. Splash through a stream, pose in front of a lake and there's even a castle as a backdrop for a memorable photograph! No gates to open and close Some jumps in both parks (halfway round and on the last stretch) with some timber jumps in the woodland. BBQ with local food Homemade cakes and tea, coffee & cold drinks Tack & clothes trade-stand Photographer Rosettes for all. First horse check in at 10.00 am Last horse check in 12.45 pm - must be on the ride by 1.00 pm Adults �15.00 Children UNDER 14 �10.00 Children on shorter lead-rein route �7.00 Cyclists �10.00 All riders enter at their own risk, have third party liability insurance and hard hats must be worn. Dogs on leads. This ride is by kind permission of our local landowners and farmers.
