A lovely ride of 8-9 miles celebrating the new ford at Cowldyke Wath, which the North Yorkshire Council reinstated after a long campaign by Bill Tait, who is leading the ride. Ride Yorkshire and the Ryedale Bridleways Group also donated towards the work. The ford crosses the River Dove and connects two lovely sections of bridleway in a network of bridleways around Normanby and Salton. NB If the river is too high to cross safely we will switch the ride to a different venue. �30 entry fee, max 5/6 riders.
