Additional Event Information

All classes will start at 6pm. Entries will close at 11pm on the Friday before the show and times will be available after 9am on the Monday before. Late entries may be accepted after this time subject to class availability. No entries will be accepted on the day. We will be selling hot and cold drinks and light snacks on the evening and there will be a photographer on site to capture those special moments. Pictures will be available to purchase on their website. Full details to be confirmed. Rounds 1.12th June Intro A, Prelim 2, Novice 24, Elementrary 42 10 Members/12 Non-Members 2.24th July Intro B, Prelim 7, Novice 27, Elementrary 44 10 Members/12 Non-Members 3.21st August Intro C, Prelim 18, Novice 28, Elementrary 49 10 Members/12 Non-Members 4. 18th September Pick a test from previous 3 rounds 10 Members/12 Non-Members N.B Round 4 classes will be placed based on level not by test. EG. All Intro entries will be judged as 1 class regardless as to which Intro test is chosen. Rules & Allocation of Points Tack must confirm to BD rules in all classes Full dressage competition wear or light coloured breeches/jodphurs and show jacket preferred but not essential. Hat up to current standards and correct footwear essential. Maximum of two tests can be entered per combination. Tests must be from consecutive levels. If a combination wants to enter more than 2 classes the entry in the lowest level class must be HC. HC entries will be accepted subject to class availability only. Combinations entering the Intro class may not enter the Novice class in the same round. Once a combination has entered a Novice class they will not be allowed to enter an Intro class in a later round. Combinations entering the Prelim class may not enter the Elementary class in the same round. Once a combination has entered a Elementary class they will not be allowed to enter a Prelim class in a later round Rosettes to 6th in each class each round. Points awarded per class as follows. 1st - 10 points, 2nd - 9 points, 3rd - 8 points, 4th - 7 points, 5th - 6 points, 6th - 5 points. 2 points per round per combination to be awarded regardless of final position. Where a class receives a high number of entries the organisers reserve the right to split the class into two sections. Each section will be awarded rosettes to 6th however league points will only be awarded to the highest six scoring competitors in the entire class. Overall League Prizes Trophies to all class winners and overall section winners. Rosettes to class and overall section league champions and reserve champions. In the result of a tie in the finalised class league tables placings will be awarded for tied competitors in order of highest average score. If there is still a tie placings will then be awarded for tied competitors in order of highest average collective marks. In the result of a tie in the finalised overall league table all tied competitors will be awarded the relevant placing rosette. Trophies and League rosettes to be presented at our Annual Presentation Award Dinner on 23rd November. Competitors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult Withdrawals made after the official entry closing date will not be reimbursed if the place cannot be filled.
