Additional Event Information
The way the rider sits on the horse will have a dramatic effect on its soundness, performance and development.
Our rider analysis sessions are designed for riders of all levels to help improve the rider's position and horse's way of going. With the use of high speed video cameras (capturing 20 x faster than the human eye), Visualise training jackets and Quintic software the rider's position and horse's way of going can be constructively analysed.
Russell, who carries out the analysis, is a keen rider himself and has worked all over the world helping riders improve their position and horse's performance. Russell's passion and easy going character will put you at ease and ensure you get the best possible results out of the session. We have a variety of options, our hugely popular dressage / flatwork rider bioemchanics sessions and our Jumping Rider Biomechanics and Rider MOT sessions.

will be available 3 days prior to the clinic date. If you need a specific time please contact us via the booking form or at [email protected]
The first session will start at 8am.
We also would like to update you on some of the measures we have put in place in order to comply with social distancing guidelines in respect of our rider biomechanics clinics.
Previously riders were asked to complete a rider questionnaire. This has now been replaced with an online registration form http://www.centaurbiomechanics.co.uk/rider-analysis/rider-registration-form/
riders were provided with a written feedback form. This has now been replaced with an electronic feedback form which will be emailed to the riders in the evening of the clinic.
We have suspended the DVD/USB stick service. This has now been replaced with an online upload (£5.00). Videos will be uploaded on the evening of the clinic and emailed to the rider.
Previously we have asked riders to wear a Centaur Biomechanics Training Jacket. This has now been made optional. Due to new software, the rider biomechanics session can proceed without interfering with any of the outcomes, if riders would rather not wear a jacket. Alternatively, if riders prefer to wear a training jacket, these will be washed between clinics and be single use on the day.
Social distancing zone – this is a zone around the laptops and monitors. This will allow riders to receive instant feedback and analysis whilst maintaining social distancing.
PPE – Centaur will have access to gloves, masks and hand sanitizer.
Venue - Bournefield Animal Rehabilitation Centre, Union Rd, Bradfield, Berks, RG7 6AA. We are part of a working farm with cattle in a barn and farm machinery.
