Additional Event Information

Until horses learn to talk we will never fully understand what they are thinking or feeling or how the way we ride and the equipment we use can affect them. However, through the application of science and the continuous training and development of riders and coaches, we can improve the way in which we assess, ride and care for our horses and ultimately improve their overall welfare. Dr Russell MacKechnie-Guire of Centaur Biomechanics and Jo Winfield FBHS will present a day of demonstrations with horse and riders on how science and coaching can work together.
