A 14-mile route starting from a large carpark just off the A614 near Market Weighton and including the entire 4 miles of the famous Kiplingcotes Derby racecourse - but in the other direction, and without the racing! Most of the route is on quiet lanes, with some on bridleways. There are beautiful distant views across the Wolds. We return to the parking place via the historic village of Goodmanham. At the end of the ride - or before it if you arrive early - the Cup & Kitchen cafe where we park offers excellent refreshments.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE RIDE STARTS BY GOING ROUND A ROUNDABOUT ON THE A614 - THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH THIS BUT YOUR HORSE MUST BE GOOD IN TRAFFIC. We also cross the A614 (straight across) at another point.
