New for 2025, this 8-mile ride takes us along lanes and bridleways in the westernmost part of the Yorkshire Wolds, where the hills slope down to meet the River Derwent. Several villages were established long ago in this rich farming area, and we pass through three of them on this ride: Westow, Burythorpe and Leavening, where we stop for a drink at the popular Jolly Farmer Inn. The ride starts at 11.15 (so we get to the pub at opening time!) and there will be up to 6 in the group (plus Janet Cochrane as leader). Entry fee �36 (includes a drink).
