This clinic will focus on gymnastic exercises to help improve your horses jump using both poles and jumps. They aim to be fun and informative based on new and exciting exercises to stretch both you and your horse. They are suitable for all ages and abilities.
Aaron is a Professional Accredited Coach BHSAI based in Oxfordshire, who specialises in Showjumping. He trained in Ireland, producing horses alongside the renowned Brian Taggart, as well as in England at The Talland School of Equestrian under the watchful eye of Pammy Hutton. During his years at Talland, he worked as both senior instructor and yard manager. In recent years he has been invited to train internationally in America and India. He has recently been named The Pony Club Young Coach of the Year for 2017.
Aaron has competed up to Grand Prix level in show jumping and taken part in events both nationally and internationally. He successfully competed and was placed in the Under 16s, Under 18s and Under 21s. He represented Great Britain in the pony ranks as well as helping team New Zealand to a Gold Medal in Bangalore, India.
Alongside running his own yard, Aaron has been teaching for many years, and is currently the showjumping coach for Area 9 of the UK Pony Club taking members of the Old Berks branch to the National Championships every year he has coached them. He has recently returned from America having taught three weeks of clinics across several different states.
Aaron is a popular, energetic and imaginative coach who provides fun, enlightening and relevant lessons whether its gridwork or riding a course.
