Additional Event Information

This BHRC Strictly; Dressage-to Music competition is in two halves. The morning session (starting at 9.00am) will be judged as standard D2M classes with the 3 highest placed competitors in each class to go through to the afternoon performance with one Wild Card selected by the judge and the BHRC ground crew. Making an afternoon performance of 10 competitors. They will also award special rosettes to the best fancy dress, the youngest competitor, the oldest horse and the best combination not going through to the afternoon performance. The afternoon judging (starting at 2.00 pm prompt) will be done by a panel of 4 judges and a chairman (who will have deciding vote.) It is they who will decide the winners, not the public. However, the public will be asked to vote on their favourite combination, the best costume and in their opinion, the best routine. Rosettes and prizes will be awarded, including a rosette to the youngest competitor and the oldest horse from the afternoon competition. The winner of Strictly; Dressage-to-Music will be the competitor/s who, in the judges opinion performs the most inventive, accurate and pleasing test. The judges decision is final! BHRC will play all its music on its own Adastra PAV8 PA and CD player (which is very loud!) We will not be using the music system at Conquest.
