Additional Event Information

A 15 mile ride celebrating the ford at Cowldyke Wath, reinstated in 2019 by North Yorkshire Council after a long campaign by Bill Tait, who is leading the ride with Mel Mellor. The ford crosses the River Dove and connects two lovely sections of bridleway in a network of bridleways around Normanby and Salton. NB If the river is too high to cross safely we will switch the ride to a different venue. �30 entry fee, max 5 riders.
