A lovely varied ride with Bill Tait and Mel Mellor around the woods, hills and fields near Rievaulx Abbey, following bridleways and country lanes north of Helmsley. The route is around 10 miles with some steep sections, so your horse should be fairly fit. The pace will be mainly walking and trotting with a few canters. Start time 10 am, entry fee �30.
