LEGUP EQUESTRIAN APRIL SHOWING SHOW @ Holywell farm. Sunday 14TH April 2024 Inhand and ridden classes. Class 1 Starts 9.30am Judge tbc. 1. Youngstock Inhand foal to 3yrs in current year 2. Novice Show Handler � open age handler not to of ever won 3 inhand classes. 3. New Combination/Novice to be in their first season showing inhand together or never to have won a 1st place inhand. 4. Child Handler open to 14yrs and under only Novice Inhand Championships for 1st and 2nd placed in classes 1 to 4. 5. Purebred (no purebred M&Ms) 6. According To Type Inhand Hunter, Cob, Traditional, Show Pony, Show Hunter Pony, Hack. (in case of large entry or at the judges decision results may be split out) 7. Condition Inhand. 8. Partbred inhand (any breed) 9. Mountain and Moorland type Inhand � Registered or Unregistered Welsh C and D. 10. Mountain and Moorland type inhand Welsh A/B, Exmoor, Dartmoor, Fell, Dale, Highland, New Forest, Connemara. will split if entries allow. 11. Coloured Inhand A) Piebald/Skewbald b ) Palamino, Dun, Roan, Spotted, cremello�. At judges decision result may be split. 12. Veteran Inhand horse/pony 15yrs and over INHAND CHAMPIONSHIP Classes 5 to 12 1st and 2nd placed to compete for champion/reserve sash and rosettes Class 13. Bonny Pony/Handsome horse. Handler 16 or under. Guest junior judge. Approx 11am. Entry Fee �5 on or before the day. Classes 14. onwards approx 12PM 14 Lead Rein Best Mannered Pony (no marks for conformation) judged on safe and sensible ride. Rosettes to all Leadrein riders if they wish may enter classes 15 and 16 off leadrein and class 18 and 24 on leadrein only) 15 Walk Trot Novice Rider A) 12yrs and under b ) 13yrs and over Rider not to have won 3 x 1st in ridden showing or dressage (with 6 or more entries in class) regardless of numbers section A and B will be placed separate - if entry less than 9 they will enter the ring and be judged at the same time. 16 Walk Trot Open Class. A) not exceeding 148cm b) over 148cm (split results if entries allow) 17 Have a Go Showing A) 12yrs and under b ) 13yrs and over (will split results if entries allow) only open to combinations whom have not won 3 x 1st placing in ridden classes with canter individually or as a group.. (with 6 entrants or more forward). There will be no group canter in this class. 18 Ridden Youngster horse /pony age 4-6yrs. Group walk and trot only. 19 NEW NOVICE RIDDEN - horse/pony not to of won 3 first placings in ridden Showing/Dressage (in classes with a group canter or at prelim dressage level). Competitors will be asked to canter as a group. Novice Championship classes 14-19 1st and 2nd placed to compete for champion/reserve rosettes Guide time approx 2pm. Full arena. 20. Ridden Veteran (horse/pony 15yrs plus) lead rein entries welcome 21. Ridden M&M . (registered or unregistered) will split if numbers allow. 22. Ridden Coloured A) Piebald/Skewbald, b )Dun, Spotted, Cremello, Palomino, Roan. will split if numbers allow. 23. Ridden Judged According to Type. Cob/Hunter/Hack/Riding horse/SHP/SP will split if numbers allow. 24. Ridden Best Mannered � No marks for turnout, type, blemishes overlooked purely on ease of ride and training. (lead rein Ponies welcome) 25. Riding Club horse/pony will include a small jump.. Snaffle bridle preferred. Championship Classes 20-25 1st and 2nd placed to compete for champion/reserve sash and rosettes Entries will be opening April 1st close Friday before the event 6pm. pre entry Fees �10 per class. LegUp member �8 per class. (unless otherwise stated) Pre entry closes Friday before the event at 6pm. From this point onwards On the day entry fees are available only at �12.50 (�10 members) Reminder on the day we do not do refunds other than if the class cancels - if suitable we will allow you to switch to another on the same day class. It is the competitor�s responsibility to be ready to go in the ring we cannot be expected to come and find you. Please be on the hardstanding or warm up area during the class before so you do not miss the call for your class going in. If you are not sure what class is on, please ask. Hot and Cold Food and Drinks will be available. Well behaved dogs allowed must be on lead.
