This 9-mile ride is designed to keep clear of muddy bridleways while giving horses and riders a great workout! We park on hard-standing and follow quiet lanes on the north-western edge of the Wolds through the villages of Kirby Underdale and Thixendale, with some steep uphill and downhill sections. Your horse needs to be fairly fit - and will certainly be fitter by the end of the ride! We include a lovely section along a gated road, and fabulous views across the Wolds and the Vale of York are guaranteed. Led by Janet Cochrane, start time 10am, entry fee �30.
