Additional Event Information
An approx 8.5 mile route with a real Old English Estate feel. A short trip through Silverhill country park and a section on small country lanes links through to the estate. Views of Hardwick Hall are quickly found, and upon reaching the parkland, there is a lovely uphill canter stretch. The scenery is typical, including lakes and clustered trees. Passing through a picturesque small estate village with an attractive church, lanes are broad and treelined with wide verges, where a cheeky canter might be found. The route concludes via trails, which form part of the Phoenix Greenways network.
