This 9-mile ride is designed to keep clear of the muddy winter bridleways whilst giving horses and riders a great workout! We park on hard-standing and follow quiet lanes on the northwestern edge of the Wolds through the villages of Kirby Underdale and Thixendale, with some steep uphill and downhill sections. Your horse needs to be fairly fit - and will certainly be fitter by the end of the ride! We include a lovely section along a gated road, and fabulous views across the Wolds and the Vale of York are guaranteed. Led by Janet Cochrane, start time 10am, entry fee �33.
