Additional Event Information
An approx 8 mile route made up predominantly of pleasing woodland trails. Connecting from Oakamoor via small country lanes, there is plenty of undulation from the outset. There are interesting views across the countryside, and into the quarry itself. Sandy tracks offer up some canter opportunities.

Worth noting:
Parking is only suitable for trailers and horseboxes up to 3.5ton due to a weak bridge on the access road.
There is some roadwork, mostly on small country lanes. HGVs may be encountered on the short section past the quarry entrance.
Trails may be stony in places.
Going is not always level with some channelling to tracks at times.
Places are �45/horse and rider combination, please use the 'find tickets' button to book. All riders must have adequate Public Liability Insurance to cover themselves and their horses. Under 18s are welcome but on a first visit, must be accompanied on the ride by an adult rider.
